Customer Terms of Service
Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and CloseCall LLC ("CloseCall," "we," "us") for using joinclosecall.com to find and call local service providers. By creating a customer account or tapping Call Now, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. Businesses listing on CloseCall agree to the separate Provider Terms.
1. What CloseCall is, and isn't
CloseCall is a free referral service. We connect you with independent local service providers, ranked by distance, never by ratings or payment. When several are about equally close (within 2 miles), the one that has had fewer recent CloseCall leads is listed first. CloseCall does not perform any service work and isn't part of any agreement you make with a provider. Prices, timing, quality, and the work itself are between you and the provider.
We check every provider's identity, insurance, and licensing documents before they appear in search, but we can't guarantee any provider's work, availability, or conduct. Use your own judgment when hiring.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate information, including a phone number you can be reached at.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Use CloseCall for your own service requests, or ones you're authorized to make for someone else.
3. Calling a provider
- CloseCall is free for customers. You never pay CloseCall. Providers pay us for leads.
- When you tap Call Now, we connect you with the provider through a CloseCall phone number, so your number stays hidden while the call connects.
- Once a call reaches 30 seconds, we send the provider your phone number, the service location you gave, and the type of job, and we send you the provider's business name, rating, profile link, and direct phone number, so you can reach each other directly.
- In an emergency search, if the closest provider doesn't answer, we'll automatically try the next closest, up to three.
- If the business sends a mobile tech, you'll get a text when they're on the way with a link to follow them on a map until they arrive (or for up to 2 hours). Anyone you share the link with can see it too, so keep it to yourself.
- Only request service you actually need, at a location you're authorized to have serviced.
4. Recording and text messages
- Calls connected through CloseCall may be recorded to verify calls, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Everyone on the call is notified. By tapping Call Now, you consent to this recording.
- By tapping Call Now, you agree to receive text messages from CloseCall about that request: the provider's contact details, a link to follow a tech who's on the way (if one is sent), and, a few hours later, a question about whether the job was completed.
- These texts are about your request only, never marketing. Message frequency varies with how often you use CloseCall. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
5. Reviews
- You can review a provider only after a call you made through CloseCall, and only after you confirm the job was completed. One review per completed job.
- Reviews must be honest and about the service you received. Negative reviews of real jobs are welcome; fake, paid, or retaliatory reviews aren't.
- You own your review and allow CloseCall to display it on the provider's listing. We may remove reviews that break these terms.
6. Things you may not do
- Make prank, harassing, threatening, or fraudulent calls, or request service you don't intend to use.
- Post fake reviews, or reviews of a business you own or work for.
- Impersonate another person, or use someone else's phone number without permission.
- Scrape the site, overload it, get around rate limits, or interfere with its security.
- Use CloseCall for anything illegal.
7. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using CloseCall at any time. To close your account, email us. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or misuse the service.
8. Disclaimers and limits on liability
CloseCall is provided "as is." We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that a provider will answer, arrive, or do good work. To the fullest extent the law allows, CloseCall isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any provider's services or conduct, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let account holders know by email or on the site. Continuing to use CloseCall after a change means you accept the updated terms.
