Provider Terms of Service

Last updated October 22, 2026

These terms are an agreement between your business ("you") and CloseCall LLC ("CloseCall," "we," "us") for listing on joinclosecall.com and receiving customer leads. By creating a provider account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy, and you confirm you're authorized to accept them for your business. Customers agree to the separate Customer Terms.

1. How CloseCall works for you

CloseCall connects customers with the closest available provider, ranked by distance. When several providers are about equally close (within 2 miles of the closest), the one that has had fewer recent CloseCall leads is listed first, so no single business can take every nearby lead. Ratings, reviews, and payment never change your position. You pay a flat fee only for qualifying leads (section 7). There are no subscriptions and no charges for being listed.

You're an independent business, not CloseCall's employee or agent. CloseCall doesn't perform, supervise, or guarantee your work, and isn't part of any agreement between you and a customer.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older and authorized to act for the business you list.
  • One account per business. Your drivers get their own sign-ins under your business (section 5). Keep your login private; you're responsible for activity on it.
  • The same business, or the same owners under a different business name, may not open a second CloseCall account. If we find accounts that belong to the same business, we may combine, suspend, or remove them.
  • Give accurate information and keep it current.

3. Verification

  • You must submit valid government ID, proof of insurance, a business license, and your state trade license (unless your trade is exempt from licensing, which you confirm at signup).
  • Enter the license numbers shown on those documents. We may check them with the agency that issued them. Once you're approved, your license numbers can't be changed from your dashboard; email us to update one.
  • Your listing stays hidden from customers until we review and approve it.
  • Keep your insurance and licenses current. We may suspend your listing if a document expires or turns out to be inaccurate, and submitting false documents is grounds for permanent removal.

4. Your listing and availability

  • Keep your business details, service area, hours, photos, and description accurate. Use a direct local phone number for your business, not a toll-free number. Each phone number can be used by only one business or shop on CloseCall.
  • One shop per service area. You may list more than one shop. Each additional shop needs its own physical address, its own phone number, and its own business license for its city, and stays hidden from customers until we approve it. Your shops can't be inside each other's service radius. Calls are connected to the shop closest to the customer.
  • You control when customers can reach you: posted shop hours, "Open today" on days your hours vary, the Accepting leads switch, the mobile Online toggle, and each driver's Available switch. Customers can call you whenever any of these has you available, so turn them off when you can't take calls. Leads received while you're available are billable.
  • You're solely responsible for your services, pricing, licensing, insurance, permits, taxes, and compliance with the law.

5. Drivers and dispatch

  • You can add drivers who work for your business. They're your employees or contractors, not CloseCall's. You're responsible for them, their work, and their conduct, and for following any employment and privacy laws that apply to you and your workers, including laws about tracking a worker's location.
  • Only add people who have agreed to be added. You send each driver their sign-in link yourself. When they set up their sign-in, they agree to these terms, to share their location while they're marked available, and to receive job texts from CloseCall. CloseCall doesn't text a driver before then.
  • Up to 6 trucks per shop, including the owner's. Each driver counts toward one of your shops. This limit keeps CloseCall fair for owner-operators and small shops.
  • CloseCall reviews each driver's photo ID before they can go available. You're responsible for making sure each driver holds any license or registration your trade requires in your state.
  • Every CloseCall call rings your business phone line, never a driver. After a call qualifies, you send the job to a driver from your dashboard, or let it go automatically to your closest available driver. The lead fee is the same no matter which driver or location handles the job.
  • Your listing may rank from an available driver's position, so send jobs to a driver who can actually reach the customer. If your business routinely ranks on a nearby driver but sends someone far away, we may rank you from your shop address only.
  • Drivers may use customer information only for the job they were sent, and the rules in section 9 apply to them too. Their violations count as yours. Removing a driver ends their access right away.

6. Live location

  • When you or a driver is marked available and sharing location, your listing's distance is measured from your closest available point: an open shop or an available driver. Customers searching see the distance only, never a map pin.
  • When a driver taps "On my way," the customer is texted a link showing the driver's first name, your business name, the driver's position, and an estimated arrival time. It ends when the driver arrives (within about 300 feet, or by tapping Arrived) or after 2 hours.
  • Location is shared only while marked available. If a phone stops sending updates for 15 minutes, that person is automatically set offline so no customer is sent to the wrong place. You see your own drivers' positions only while they're available. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy for what we keep.
  • Never fake a location, for example with a location-spoofing app. It's grounds for immediate removal.

7. Lead fees, billing, and failed payments

  • Qualifying leads. A lead qualifies when a call connected through CloseCall reaches 30 seconds of talk time. You pay a flat fee per qualifying lead, set by your trade and shown when you sign up. Every trade's fee, and how fees are set, is listed on How lead fees work.
  • Founding offer. Businesses that sign up during CloseCall's launch get their first 5 qualifying leads free. Free leads are used automatically, one per qualifying lead, before any fee is charged. They have no cash value and can't be transferred. We may end the offer for new signups at any time; free leads already given are kept.
  • Either side can end a call before 30 seconds with no charge: you by not pressing 1 to accept it or by hanging up, and the customer by hanging up or pressing * to skip to another provider. Once a call passes 30 seconds, it's billable, even if the job isn't booked. If 30 seconds is reached before a hang-up or skip registers on our system, the call is billable.
  • Your billing threshold. Fees add up to a running balance, and you choose when it's collected: when it reaches $100, $500, or $1,000. New accounts start at $100. You can change it any time from your Leads & billing page, and the change applies from your next lead. When a lead brings your balance to or past your threshold, the full balance is charged to your payment method on file.
  • Failed payments. If a charge fails or is reversed, your listing is paused indefinitely. It's hidden from search and can't receive calls until the full balance is paid. Your account, reviews, and settings are kept while paused, and your listing goes back live once payment clears. Leads received before the pause are still owed.
  • Billing disputes. If you believe a lead was billed in error, contact us within 30 days. We'll review the call records, including any recording, and credit leads billed by mistake.
  • Fee changes. We may change lead fees with at least 30 days' notice. New fees apply only to leads after that date.
  • When you close your account, any remaining balance is charged at that time.

8. Calls, recording, and text messages

  • Lead calls come from a CloseCall phone number and ring your business phone line. You press 1 to take the call. The customer's number stays hidden until the call qualifies at 30 seconds. Then we text your business line their number, service location, job type, and a Job ID.
  • Calls connected through CloseCall may be recorded to verify leads, resolve billing disputes, and prevent abuse. By creating an account, you consent to recording of calls connected through CloseCall.
  • By creating an account, you agree to receive lead calls and texts from CloseCall at the phone number on your listing, including reminders when a job is waiting for a driver. Texts are about leads and your account only, never marketing. Message frequency varies with your lead volume. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. Your leads stay viewable on your dashboard either way.

9. Lead sniping and other things you may not do

  • Lead sniping: asking a customer for their phone number, or arranging to continue off CloseCall, before the call reaches 30 seconds in order to avoid the lead fee. This is grounds for immediate removal and billing for the affected leads. We monitor patterns such as unusually high rates of short calls.
  • Manipulating reviews in any way: reviewing your own business, offering anything in exchange for reviews, or pressuring customers.
  • Using customer information from CloseCall for anything other than that customer's service request, including marketing.
  • Impersonating another business, or listing a business you aren't authorized to represent.
  • Listing shops, accounts, or drivers that don't really exist, or using another account or business name to get around the one-account-per-business, one-shop-per-service-area, or six-trucks-per-shop limits.
  • Faking your own or a driver's location, or being marked available when no one can take the job.
  • Scraping the site, overloading it, getting around rate limits, or interfering with its security.
  • Using CloseCall for anything illegal.

10. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, logo, descriptions, and other content on your listing, and you give CloseCall permission to display it on the service so customers can find and evaluate you. If you import content from your website, you confirm you have the right to use it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

11. Reviews of your business

Customers can review you only after a qualifying call and only after confirming the job was completed. Reviews never affect your ranking. If you believe a review breaks the Customer Terms, contact us and we'll look into it.

You may post one public reply to each review, and edit or delete it at any time. Replies must be professional and truthful, and must never include a customer's name beyond their first name, phone number, address, or other personal details from the job. Replies don't affect your ranking. We may remove a reply that breaks these rules without changing the review.

12. Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or remove listings that break these terms, fail or lapse in verification, have unpaid balances, put customers at risk, or turn out to be fake or duplicate shops, accounts, or drivers. You remain responsible for fees on leads received before your account is closed or suspended.

13. Responsibility for your work

You agree to cover CloseCall's reasonable costs, including legal fees, from any claim brought by a customer or anyone else that arises from your services, your conduct, or your breaking these terms.

14. Disclaimers and limits on liability

CloseCall is provided "as is." We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise any number of leads, that the service will always be available or error-free, or that any customer will hire you. To the fullest extent the law allows, CloseCall isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the lead fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if that's greater.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and email you about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use CloseCall after that means you accept the updated terms.
